Listening Sessions

Developing a shared understanding of coastal resilience challenges

C-CoAST hosted five listening sessions from January to March 2021 to gather insights about how coastal residents and other stakeholders understand relationships between short-term decision-making and the long-term consequences for coastal communities. Our initial listening sessions helped us begin to see the connections between short-term decisions and long-term consequences for coastal resilience, but the story is far from complete. We will be including more voices in the Gallery Walk — coming Summer 2022 — with the goal that the story becomes richer and reveals more pathways for improving coastal futures.
